Project: Chandra- Galactic Map (Initial Draft)

It's good to be back.

I really hope my practicing pays off. But then again, if my best is not good enough, I will try harder.

Anyway, here's a map of a fictional galaxy. The problem with making a map of a galaxy is the same as making a map of the world. First off, galaxies such as our Milky Way galaxy are three-dimensional. While making a map of the Earth is easy, making the map of a galaxy is difficult. You will be certain that you will miss any stars beneath the area of the galaxy you draw. Secondly, what star to include or exclude in a map is difficult. This can be rectified by measuring the distance from the planet to the star based on its brightness.

My scanner scanned the drawing of the map in GLORIOUS SHITTY JPEG format. As such, there are bits cut off, so when I get the next scan I will change a few things.

What's more this is done really cheaply- I used highlighters as I don't have any coloured pencils lying around. Sometimes you got to use what you have.

Furthermore the random "scribblings" is a fictional language I made up. So there.
